The Sers Lake property

The Sers Lake property is made of an old and typical Charentaise farm, fully refurbished in 2014 and located in the commune of Sers (post code 16410). Built among 27 hectares of woods and landscapes, it is home to a 2‑hectare Lake.

At the very heart of the Charentaise country, the property is open to rent and is just next door to the Regional Nature Park of Périgord‑Limousin, making it stand as the ideal vacation spot to unwind and relax with friends and family. Recharge your batteries by enjoying the building’s fine, warm atmosphere and outstanding environment, not forgetting the local dishes and specialities.

The house

With a sleeping capacity of 8 to 10 people, the house is located on a wooded and securely enclosed land of 27 hectares.

The land

Many activities such as fishing, mushroom picking, but also pedestrian, cycling and donkey rides.

The lake

Walking around the magnificient private Lake of 2 hectares, just at the house’s doorstep, is also something you can look forward to.

Surrounding area

Erected along the boarder between the Charente and Dordogne regions, on the shores of the Périgord‑Limousin Regional Nature Park, the village is ideally set, within reach of the following activities:

Less than 10 minutes away: swimming pool, golf course, tree climbing adventure, karting track, cinema, paintball;

Less than 15 minutes away: the gated city of Angoûleme and its high‑speed ‘TGV’ train station (2.15 hours from Paris) which hosts the Comics Festival each year (January), the French Film Festival (August)…;

Less than 1 hour away from: Cognac, Périgord, Aubeterre‑sur‑Dronne, Brantôme, the Valley of the Monkeys…;

1.30 hours away: the Altantic coast (Royan, La Rochelle, Fort Boyard…), Futuroscope in Poitiers, Bergerac, Bordeaux and its vineyards, the Green Venice…
